Example #1: Mr. X, a German national, bought a farm and dog breeding business in Nebraska. On Mr. Barone’s advice, the purchase price was allocated between the land and the business and the E-2 was approved for the business.
Example #2: Mr. X, a British national, bought the book of business from a Florida insurance broker, hired some sales agents, and got an E-2 approved.
Example #3: Mr. X, a Canadian, sold his home in Canada, borrowed on his credit cards and from his family and bought a Motel in New York State. His E-2 was approved.
